A long lunch.
A lively table.
Nowhere to rush.

Space to cook, eat and unwind together is what the barn is all about.

2 wide sets of bi-fold doors1 generous shared living space

Everyone together. Room to spread out.

Whoever is cooking is still part of the conversation. The kitchen island, dining table and sofas share one generous space beneath the oak beams, so your stay can unfold around shared meals, a game at the table or a long evening by the fire.

Two wide sets of bi-fold doors bring in the light and open the room to the terraces. On cooler days, the wood burner and underfloor heating make coming back indoors just as inviting.

Slow mornings

No rush to get going.

Coffee at the island, breakfast together, then out onto the terrace when the sun appears. Sometimes the best plan is to leave the morning free.

Long afternoons

Make yourself at home.

Spread a game across the table, curl up with a book or head out for a walk. There’s room to enjoy different things and still feel together.

Evenings in

Stay for one more story.

Put something good in the oven, gather around the table and let dinner last a little longer. The sofas and wood burner are only a few steps away.

Open skies.
Room to breathe.

The barn sits on our private 17-acre hilltop estate, with countryside views in every direction and no neighbouring holiday cottages. The space around you is part of what makes a stay here feel so different.

You don’t have to fill the day with plans. Open the doors, find your favourite seat and watch the light change over the hills.

A little more
good to know.

We want you to feel at home before you arrive. If there’s something particular your group needs, please ask us.

Ask us a question
Do you have a cot and high chair?

Yes, we have a travel cot and a high chair. Please let us know before your stay if you’ll need them. As babies can have sensitive skin, we ask guests to bring their baby’s own bedding for the travel cot.

How are the bedrooms and bathrooms arranged?

There are two king bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms, one further king bedroom and one double bedroom. The latter two share a family bathroom with a freestanding bath and shower. All accommodation is on one level.

Will we share the barn with anyone?

No. The detached barn is for your group. Jacqui and Mick live in the main house across the driveway, with no other neighbours or neighbouring holiday cottages. We’re close by if you need anything during your stay.

Can we bring our dogs?

Dogs are welcome by prior agreement. Tell us about your dogs before booking. There’s a private two-acre field and walks nearby; we ask that dogs stay off the beds and furniture. Read more about staying with dogs.

Is it suitable for guests with limited mobility?

The barn is single-level, with parking nearby and no stairs between the living spaces, bedrooms and bathrooms. If you have particular access requirements, contact us before booking so we can discuss the details you need, including doorway widths and bathroom access.

Can we walk to a pub?

Yes. The Lion in Tredington is a short walk from the barn and one of our own favourites. We’re always happy to help with local suggestions for meals out and days exploring.

What time can we arrive and leave?

Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is by 10am. If you need a guaranteed earlier arrival, ask us about booking the previous night, subject to availability.

Can we have visitors or host a party?
