01 / The field

Out of the doors.
Into the field.

The private two-acre guest field sits directly in front of the gable-end bi-fold doors. It's impossible to miss — a wonderfully generous space to enjoy together, without getting in the car.

A little more freedom to explore.

The field is bordered by fencing and hedgerows, and the gates can be closed while you're outside with your dogs.

As every dog is different, we'd always recommend keeping an eye on them while they explore, especially if they're rather good at finding gaps.

The best walks
start here.

Whether it's a quick morning circuit or a longer afternoon out, you can set off into the countryside without getting back into the car.

01

The little loop.

A roughly 20-minute walk behind the Barn is a lovely way to start the morning or stretch everyone's legs before dinner.

02

Wander a little further.

Follow the surrounding footpaths and discover the changing countryside, remembering leads where needed around livestock or other animals.

03

Make a day of it.

Head towards nearby villages and country pubs. If you're dining out, it's worth checking each venue's current dog policy when you book.

03 / Time together

Good company.
All round.

Plan a long walk, spend a morning wandering through a Cotswold village or find a table somewhere that welcomes dogs. There are plenty of lovely places to discover nearby.

Or don't make a plan at all. Stay close to the Barn, have lunch outside and let the afternoon unfold.

Before you arrive

A few useful
things to know.

Every dog is different. If you have a question before your stay, we're always happy to help you work out what will suit them best.

Ask us a question
Can we bring our dogs?

Absolutely. Dogs are very welcome by prior arrangement. Just tell us a little about who's coming so we can confirm the arrangements before you book.

Is the field enclosed?

The private two-acre guest field is bordered by fencing and hedgerows, with gates that can be closed. We can't promise it will be escape-proof for every dog, so please supervise yours while they're outside. If you have particular concerns, do ask us about the boundaries.

What should we bring?

Their usual bed, bowls, food, leads, poo bags and a towel for muddy paws. A favourite toy can help them settle into a new space, too.

Can dogs go on beds or sofas?

We kindly ask that dogs stay off the beds and all upholstered furniture. Their own bed gives them a comfortable, familiar place to settle nearby.

Can we leave our dogs at the Barn?

We ask that dogs aren't left alone in the Barn while you go out. There are dog-friendly walks and venues nearby to enjoy together.
